Many PlayStation gamers were disappointed when Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli said “Ha. Doubtful.” in response to a user request on the PS Blog. It wasn’t what it seemed, though.
It turns out that Monacelli was only doubtful about Uncharted 4 easter eggs. She decided to follow up by commenting:
I answer the questions when replying. The only question was the Easter egg question. A lot of passion and gossip happening otherwise!
Naughty Dog has always been a community-oriented development team, and it’s well aware that its loyal fanbase would love to see a Naughty Dog release in 2014. Truthfully, the odds of Uncharted 4 arriving this calendar year are low when you consider nothing has been shown to this point, but a GOTY edition of The Last of Us isn’t out of the question. Who knows, maybe it could be for the PS4.
Worst case scenario you can play The Last of Us on your PS4 using PlayStation Now this Summer. In the meantime, a very good-looking DLC package for The Last of Us, titled Left Behind, is coming on February 14th.
