As far as rumours go, this is a pretty exciting one. Ridley Scott, perhaps best known for directorial work on Alien, is reportedly the producer of a “live-action feature-length” Halo movie.
As with all rumours pertaining to the oft-discussed film adaptation of the Halo series, this should be taken with a pinch of salt, with this particular nugget of unconfirmed news being outed by the Twitter account of Production Weekly, a film and TV production tracking database.
The series of Tweets allegedly outing the film has now been removed by the account, but fortunately they were screengrabbed by Scified.com,
Could this rumour be true, or is it a mere publicity stunt? If this is the case, we hope Halo: The Movie turns out to be more Alien than it does Prometheus. Yeesh.
