Ain’t no punk movie like a steampunk movie, we always say, and there’s one coming out this weekend called The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box. From director Jonathan Newman (Foster), the action-adventure stars Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon), Ioan Gruffudd (The Fantastic Four) and Aneurin Barnard (The Truth About Emanuel) as the title hero, who has to solve a mysterious kidnapping in a hotel of wonders, monsters and steampunkery.
The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box opens in theaters on January 10, 2014, and is currently available on VOD.
