New York’s Brooklyn Bowl is Coming to the UK

OK, we can get behind this. New York’s Brooklyn Bowl venue is set to open a UK outpost next week (January 16th).

The venue will open at London’s O2 Arena in Greenwich, and will feature an 800-capacity floor for gigs,12 lanes of bowling, a private party area and Blue Ribbon restaurant.

The original New York venue launched in 2009 and has seen the likes of Kanye West, Adele, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Haim, N.E.R.D., James Murphy and Guns ‘n’ Roses take to the stage since its opening.

Speaking of the new outpost, Brooklyn Bowl owner Peter Shapiro said: “When thinking of another city that’s as influential on global culture as New York, there’s only one that immediately stands out, and that, of course, is London.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the Bowl’s unique and multi-pronged vibe to what really is the most important city in the world.”

No artists have been confirmed to play at the venue at the time of writing, though expect more information as its opening day draws closer.
