The next installment in the Mass Effect saga … without Commander Shepard … is coming along nicely, according to BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn.
A report Thursday from Crave’s CinemaBlend, quoted Flynn calling the build “ambitious, beautiful, fresh but recognizable, and fun.” The next game, which isn’t even officially announced, will be the beginning of a whole new story that does not include Shepard. Apparently the game engine is built on Frostbite 3, just like Battlefield 4.
You likely can’t expect much on this before Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is due out late next year. But just for grins, what do you hope to see from the next Mass Effect? Let us know over on Crave’s Facebook.
