Yuri Kolokolnikov Enlists In ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 4

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) may be back at Castle Black, but his list of enemies has just gone up by one.

Entertainment Weekly> broke the story about the newest cast member of “Game of Thrones” Season 4. Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov has signed on to play Styr, the Magnar of Thenn; one of the most formidable warriors in Mance Rayder’s (Ciarán Hinds) army of Wildings; which was last seen heading towards the Wall as they prepared to invade Westros. Styr leads the Theen, a tribe well known and feared for their skills in warfare. 

While Kolokolnikov is virtually unknown in the U.S., he has appeared in several TV series and films in his native Russia. 

“Game of Thrones” Season 4 is currently in production for a Spring 2014 premiere on HBO.
