Xbox One and Xbox 360 Get Halo: Spartan Assault this December

A Halo will will be finding its way to Xbox before year’s end. No, it’s not a new game entirely. Instead, Microsoft is porting over Halo: Spartan Assault, a game that was released only months ago exclusively for Windows hardware.

Halo: Spartan Assault is a top-down shooter set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4. It was made by 343 Industries, the same development team responsible for the new line of Halo games. It received positive reception at its $6.99 price point and will be a welcomed addition to the exclusive holiday lineup for Xbox.

Halo: Spartan Assault will release as a digital download on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this December.
