Joe Dante, director of The Man with Kaleidoscope Eyes, a biopic about famed low-budget director Roger Corman, denied publicized reports later Friday that he asked Quentin Tarantino to star as Corman.
Crave’s Collider website posted both the initial report that Tarantino would play Corman and Dante’s response. The Man with Kaleidoscope Eyes is about Corman during his time in the 1960s directing The Trip with Jack Nicholson. Colin Firth was at one time set to play Corman, but now it seems someone else may have to step into the legendary director’s skin.
