If we know anything about Danny Trejo's badass alter ego Machete Cortez, it's that Machete…kills.
And he kills…a lot.
So it stands to reason that for the character's third cinematic appearance — following that trailer in Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse (2007) and his feature debut in Machete (2010) — the sequel to that modern exploitation classic would focus on what Machete does best: kill.

This time around, Machete gets recruited by the President of the United States (Charlie Sheen) to stop a deadly missile attack on Washington, D.C. That puts the ex-Federale head-to-head with an international arms dealer (Mel Gibson) bent on sparking riots around the globe.
Any world where Charlie Sheen is the President has to be worth at least a look, right?
In addition to Trejo, Sheen and Gibson, Machete Kills also stars Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., Demian Bichir, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana and Lady Gaga.
