Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige told Crave’s ComicBookMovie website Friday that the action in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy takes place in the same fictional period of time as the other Phase 2 films.
Feige also dropped some information about the villain, or should we say villains, in Guardians:
“Ronan The Accuser is very much the main bad guy. And Thanos is lurking above it all. You will learn more about Thanos in Guardians, for sure. Certainly you’ll get more than the one turn around and smirk. You’ll get much more than that!”
Guardians of the Galaxy opens August 1, 2014.
