What strange, strange season it’s been on “True Blood.” Even by the standards of this show!
After last week’s episode, the main vampires are free from the concentration camp and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) saved the day before Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) took off for parts unknown. Even Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) managed to survive to hate another day.
Unlike the five previous seasons, this season is wrapping up after only ten episodes because of Anna Paquin’s maternity leave. That means that this Sunday’s episode will be the season finale.
In our first preview clip from the finale, Sookie Stackhouse (Paquin) shares an unexpectedly tender moment with Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello). Nice try, Alcide, but it doesn’t make up for being a huge jerk this year!
And in the second preview scene, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) remains in the thrall of Violet (Karolina Wydra), the vampire who made him into her chew toy at the vampire camp. When Violet learns about Sookie, she starts to get violent… until she learns who Sookie really is. Then her reaction is… shall we say, interesting?
HBO’s synopsis for the finale indicates that we may get a glimpse of next season’s big bad.
Bill discovers that salvation comes at a price; Jason senses a vampire attraction firsthand. Sookie examines her future with Warlow , while Bon Temps braces itself when a new crisis threatens both humans and vampires.
“True Blood” Season 6 comes to an end this Sunday on HBO!
