Thursday is always the official start of Comic-Con, but Friday is the day each year when the world's largest pop culture happening truly kicks into high gear.
And while Thursday's cosplayers were good, Friday saw the field of showmen and women vying for all that attention increase exponential as the bar was most definitely raised.
