This Friday, January 27 (at 10pm EST), Spartacus: Vengeance returns to STARZ for its long-awaited second season that finds Spartacus and his band of escaped slaves on the run from their Roman masters and pursuing different agendas on the road to avenging themselves on their former oppressors.
Earlier this month, CraveOnline attended the Los Angeles premiere of “Spartacus: Vengeance” and had the opportunity to speak with several of the cast members on the red carpet. First, “Spartacus” creator and executive producer Steven S. DeKnight sets the stage for the second season and shares his thoughts on how many seasons the show will run before the new Spartacus, Liam McIntyre tells us about his mental and physical preparation to step into the role formerly held by the late Andy Whitfield.
Then Peter Mensah describes Oenomaus’ journey to redefine himself after the fall of the House of Batiatus and Craig Parker weighs in on whether his character, Claudius Glaber is more dangerous than his onscreen wife, Ilithyia (Viva Bianca). Afterwards, Bianca joins us to speak about the strange relationship between Ilithyia and Lucretia and Lucy Lawless describes Lucretia’s devastating losses and her burning desire for revenge.
Finally, Nick Tarabay takes us down the trecharous path of Ashur and Manu Bennett relates the driving force of Crixus in the second season.
