Don’t expect Gus Turner to return as Henry Lasso in Ted Lasso Season 4
According to reports, the makers of Apple TV+ Ted Lasso are searching for a new actor to play Henry Lasso in the show’s Season 4.
Henry is the son of Jason Sudeikis’ character Ted and was played on screen by child actor Gus Turner from Seasons 1 to 3. However, Warner Bros has not revealed the accurate reason behind the decision to recast Henry. As per Deadline, the recasting is probably being done to have an actor who is good at playing soccer. This is because Season 4 will probably depict Henry showing off his skills.
Season 4 of Ted Lasso was confirmed a few days ago by Sudeikis in a statement. According to Variety, the actor stated, “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap,’ in Season 4, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”
Jason Sudeikis also shared some details about the plot of the show while talking to Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce on their podcast, New Heights. He disclosed that in Season 4, fans will get to see Ted Lasso taking on the role of a women’s team coach.
