Carly was poisoned with polonium in the form of champagne implanted by Valentin as he intended to kill Brennan (via Soaps).
On March 17, 2025, Carly Corinthos accidentally drank polonium-210 from champagne meant for Jack Brennan. She collapses and is rushed to the hospital, leaving her loved ones in a desperate scramble to save her.
The incident began when Carly inadvertently consumed several glasses of champagne while Valentin eavesdropped outside their room. Jack Brennan emerged from the bathroom, and Carly inquired about his delay. They shared a kiss, while Valentin continued to listen intently at the door.
Carly enthusiastically remarked on the champagne’s delightful taste, urging him to try it. During their conversation, Brennan noticed that the label on the bottle appeared altered and swiftly knocked the glass from Carly’s hand, exclaiming, “CARLY DONT.” Unfortunately, it was too late; Carly suddenly felt lightheaded and collapsed. Brennan managed to catch her before she fell and called out her name.
