This article will delve into the details of the allegations against Le’Veon Bell and his response.

Le’Veon Bell denies Jada Bell’s allegations, claims his lawyer

Le’Veon Bell has denied allegations of sexual abuse following a recent court ruling in Ohio, where a jury awarded his accuser, Jada Bell, $25 million in damages. Court documents state that the woman, identified as Bell’s cousin, received $20 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. La’Vonte Bell, his brother, was also ordered to pay over $11 million.

The lawsuit, filed in March 2024, accuses both brothers of engaging in nonconsensual sexual acts with the plaintiff. It started when she was about six or seven years old and continued until “at least 2017.” According to legal filings, Bell allegedly maintained this misconduct even after leaving for college. He was reportedly using coded language to direct her actions. The lawsuit claims he once referred to oral sex as “fire.” (via New York Post)

Bell’s attorney, Mark Schaffer, argues that the ruling was based on a default judgment due to Bell not being properly served with legal documents. He claims Bell’s due process rights were violated because he was not properly served with legal documents. Schaffer has confirmed that Bell is filing a motion to challenge and overturn the judgment.

The accuser filed a police report in Columbus, Ohio, in October 2022, but no criminal charges resulted from the allegations. The accuser’s attorney, John Camillus, insists they followed all required procedures to notify both defendants.
