Cardi B ‘Freaks Out’ in Relatable ‘You’ Trailer Reaction Video

Cardi B is a true “You” superfan. The singer previewed the trailer for the crime series’ final season, leaving an array of interesting and relatable reactions. The official page of the Netflix show posted the Grammy winner’s real-time emotions to witnessing the suspense-gripped trailer, and boy, did it keep her on her toes. While watching the video, the star kept asking questions and also fangirling about her X (formerly Twitter) pal and the show’s lead actor, Penn Badgley. 

Cardi B has the most relatable reaction to new ‘You’ trailer

Cardi B might be a Grammy winner, but she is also a fangirl. The singer put her love for the Netflix series “You” on full display while watching the fifth installment trailer. The star was visibly shaking in excitement as the clip started before enthusiastically exclaiming, “I just love this show.” If this isn’t relatable fangirl behavior, then what is? 

As she proceeded to watch the “You” final season trailer, Cardi B couldn’t keep calm, thanking her fame for being able to get an exclusive look at the preview. From then on, the singer got completely engrossed in the trailer, making her emotions visible through the right statements and queries. While swirling around in her chair until the end, she was left with more questions than answers that somehow left her excited. 

After the trailer ended, the rapper clapped her hands, expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming season. She said, “I cannot wait! Oh my God, I gotta watch this season…I got to finish my album so I can watch this season. In peace.” Previously, Cardi B teased what fans can expect from the final “You” season after watching the trailer. She said, “I cannot wait for you guys to see the trailer. Y’all gonna gag! Got me gagging. Gagging!”

Cardi B and the series “You” have a long-standing relationship. In 2021, she and Penn Badgley became X (formerly Twitter) pals after a couple of interactions, eventually swapping each other’s faces for their profile pictures. Their mutual friendship also led to Badgley sending some series merch over to her. Furthermore, the singer made her appearance in “You” Season 4 through her song “I Like It,” which was featured in the premiere episode.
