Jessica Alba Shares New Tattoo Amid Divorce From Cash Warren

Actress Jessica Alba disclosed on social media that she had gotten a new tattoo. This comes after it was revealed last month that Alba had parted ways from her husband of nearly 17 years, Cash Warren. The former couple have three children together; daughters Honor Marie and Haven Garner and son Hayes.

Alba recently posted the images of her fresh tattoo on her Instagram Stories, captioning one of the photos with the following, “The current chapter.” The tattoo parlor, Winterstone, also shared the photos on their Instagram page. The new ink says “Life is transformation is life, which, according to the artist, is meant to be read as “Life is transformation, transformation is life.”

The Into the Blue star also shared several photos with her children on Instagram Stories. One of the posts has the following message, “Life is to be lived—not controlled.”

In the respective documents that Alba and Warren filed in court, both of them stated that they separated on December 27, 2024, and claimed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. Alba confirmed the news in a since-deleted post in January 2025. “I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years—both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” the post reportedly read. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”

The Trigger Warning actress continued, “We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she continued. “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”

Earlier this month, Alba filed for divorce from Warren. They have sought joint custody of their three children.

Notably, Alba met Cash Warren, who is actor Michael Warren’s son, during the production of Fantastic Four in 2004. They exchanged wedding vows four years later, in May 2008.
