Kim Kardashian recently opened up about the emotional toll of her divorce from Kanye West. In a February 13 episode of The Kardashians, she reflected on how difficult it was to accept a marriage ending when it wasn’t what she originally wanted.

The discussion came up when Khloe Kardashian talked about her past marriage to Lamar Odom. She admitted she married too quickly but still believed they would have stayed together if not for his struggles with addiction.

Hearing this, Kim Kardashian shared her own experience. She explained that it’s heartbreaking when someone changes so much that staying in the relationship is no longer possible. The reality TV star said, “When you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality and then they’re not the same person and you can’t ever get that person back, but you can’t live with the new person. I get it.”

Speaking candidly in a confessional, Kim Kardashian admitted that one of the hardest parts was realizing the marriage ended not by choice but by circumstance. She emphasized how challenging it is to move on when things don’t turn out the way you expected.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in 2021 after six years of marriage. Their relationship had been under strain, particularly as West faced public struggles with bipolar disorder. In court documents, Kim Kardashian revealed she had repeatedly asked Kanye to handle their split privately. However, he continued to share personal details online, making the situation even more painful. (via PEOPLE)
