Mandy Moore Blasts Amazon for Delivering to Burned Down In-Law House

Mandy Moore recently criticized Amazon for reportedly leaving a package at her in-laws’ home, which was burned down in the ravaging LA fires. The actress shared her frustration on her Instagram story, which led Amazon to make a statement regarding the incident right after. The wildfires in Los Angeles have caused havoc in the city, with many people losing their homes. Previously, Moore also revealed that she had lost her home in Altadena in the Eaton fires.

Mandy Moore slams Amazon over delivery

Mandy Moore stirred discussions on the internet after she slammed Amazon for an alleged delivery they did to her in-laws’ house, which had been destroyed in the LA fires.

The This Is Us actress didn’t seem to hold back on the criticism and posted an image showcasing the burned-down property with a box that appeared to resemble an Amazon delivery box placed on the steps. The actress urged the multinational company to “do better” and wrote, “Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father in law’s home. Smh.”

According to People, after this statement from Mandy Moore, Amazon immediately reached out to the actress and extended their apology for the incident.

They told the outlet, “We’ve reached out to Ms. Moore via Instagram to apologize for this and to ask for more information from her in-laws so we’re better able [to] investigate what happened here.” The company asserted that they have instructed their representatives to “use discretion in areas that were impacted by wildfires – especially if it involves delivering to a damaged home.”

Mandy Moore shared the news of losing her Altadena residence in a post made in January on Instagram. Additionally, the actress conveyed her in-laws lost their house too.
