The release date and time of Season 2 of the hit Netflix series The Exchange have finally been revealed. Set in the 1980s, the drama show debuted on the popular streaming platform in 2023. It has a talented star cast including, Rawan Mahdi, Hussain Al Mahdi, Abdallah Bahman, Mona Hussain, and Rayan Dashti. Jasem AlMuhanna is set to be in the director’s chair for The Exchange Season 2. Additionally, Abdullah Bushahri is joining as the co-director and producer.

Created by Nadia Ahmed and Adam Sobel, this popular Netflix series revolves around the lives of two women in Kuwait, Munira and Farida. The series takes place in the 1980s when these two try to break societal norms and establish themselves in the Kuwait Stock Market, amid numerous personal and professional hurdles.

The Exchange Season 2 plot, explained

Season 2 of The Exchange will continue to focus on Munira and Farida. It will pick up from where Season 1 ended, as Munira became the bank manager. However, in the second season, the story will bring her and Farida face-to-face. Both will further try to prove themselves as the better female boss in the Kuwait Stock Market.

Talking about Season 2 in an interview with The National, Mona Hussain disclosed, “We knew we were offering something of high quality, whether in directing and acting to the visual design of the show. Now, season two is completely different to season one and will again offer something new and unexpected.”
