As Beast Games moves closer to its finale, a sudden criticism surrounds Player 566, AKA JC, on social media. So, who is Player 566 and why are netizens hating him?

Here is everything you need to know about fans’ criticism toward this particular contestant in the show.

In 1996, he started working at the JPMorgan Chase Bank as a System Analyst/User Support. Further, JC joined Pacific Sun Tanning as a Retail Manager. Talking about JC Gallego Iori’s personal life, he is married to Joseph and the couple share two sons, Ashton and Preston.

Why are fans irritated with Beast Games’ Player 566, JC?

Fans disliked JC, AKA Player 566, in Beast Games due to him asking for a bribe from a fellow contestant to reach the finale. Moreover, many felt that his behavior was selfish.

Episode 9 of the reality show featured the top 10 contestants vouching to reach the Top 6. In an interesting challenge, they were asked to convince each other to vote for them. Additionally, players could use money from the Black Box to bribe each other or buy votes.

As the game continued, Yessi ran out of money. However, at the last moment, she received a call from JC to give him $10,000 in exchange for a spot in the Top 6. She eventually refused as she did not have that amount. Albeit, JC’s gameplay did not sit well with fans, who called him out on social media for demanding a bribe despite having withdrawn $650k from the Black Box in Episode 8.

A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), ”66 still asking for 10k in bribes after taking 650k last episode, oh you sicken me.” Another user expressed, ”566 STILL asking for MORE money. You greedy m***.” On the other hand, some felt JC was only there on the show for ‘money instead of making friends.

Meanwhile, viewers can catch the Beast Games finale on February 13, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video.
