Jared Goff, 30, and Christen Harper, 31, appeared at the NFL Honors red carpet in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the pair immediately drew attention because of Harper’s baby bump.
They later spoke to People about the pregnancy. “I’m looking forward to becoming a dad,” Goff told the outlet. His wife said, “We’re just excited to enjoy this special time together and just soak up every second.” She also disclosed to People that they were having a girl, and she was due in early summer.
Harper is a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model and was the co-winner of the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swim Search for new models. The publication also confirmed the pregnancy and congratulated the couple in a social media post.
Goff and Harper met through Raya, a private and exclusive dating app with several celebrities as its members. They began dating sometime in 2019. Goff proposed in June 2022. The couple exchanged wedding vows in a private ceremony in California two years later, in June 2024.
Goff has been with the Lions since 2021. He previously competed for the Los Angeles Rams between 2016 to 2020. Before his professional career, Goff attended Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, California, and the University of California, Berkeley. In 2024, the Lions dominated the National Football Conference (NFC), winning 15 of their games and losing two. However, they suffered a staggering defeat against the Washington Commanders in the divisional round of the Playoffs.
