Ashley Tisdale recently shared a hilarious incident involving her daughter in a podcast appearance. She revealed how her daughter, after watching High School Musical, which Tisdale starred in, thought that Tisdale’s co-star Zac Efron was her father. Accordingly, fans have become curious about this story and wish to learn more about it.
Here is Ashley Tisdale’s daughter’s hilarious experience explored.
Why did Ashley Tisdale’s daughter think Zac Efron was her dad?
In a recent appearance on the Breaking Beauty podcast, when asked if her older daughter, 3-year-old Jupiter, has watched any of her projects, Tisdale replied that she had seen High School Musical last year when her husband, Christopher French, showed it to her.
“I was like what are you doing?,” she added. Tisdale then revealed that her daughter ended up mistakingly believing that Zac Efron was her father, confusing him for French. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star further revealed that she tried to clear the air by pointing out to her daughter that Efron was not her father. “She’s like Daddy I was like ‘no, no, no!’ Just cause they have dark hair… not Daddy,” Tisdale said.
Tisdale then noted that her daughter knew she worked on Phineas and Ferb, where Tisdale voices Candace Flynn, the titular protagonist’s sister, but was not fully aware of her acting career. She shared how the latter got excited when she saw the former at the Wicked red carpet premiere. This is despite Tisdale’s lack of involvement in the film.
However, the Scary Movie 5 actress noted that her daughter was only starting to realize that her mother was famous. Tisdale shared how her daughter started questioning why people were taking pictures with the former, especially after the family attended Taylor Swift’s concert in Miami. “So I think she actually thinks that you just take pictures with people. That’s what you do in life,” Tisdale added.
The Guilty Pleasure singer, however, noted she was not yet ready to disclose the truth about her professional life to her daughter.
Besides Jupiter, Tisdale and French, who married in 2014, are also parents to Emerson, a four-month-old girl.
