Who is returning to General Hospital? Several cast members’ comebacks have been confirmed for this week, amidst the departures of others. Accordingly, fans have been wondering which familiar faces will be seen again on ABC’s long-running soap opera.

The following cast members are returning to General Hospital:
Braedyn Bruner – Emma Drake
Emma Drake, played by Braedyn Bruner, who took over the role from Brooklyn Rae Silzer on December 23, 2024, is the first major returning character on General Hospital this week. She will be seen on January 28, where she is part of a storyline concerning her grandmother Anna, played by Finola Hughes.
Drake is notable for having been uniquely conceived in the show through natural means, as her mother Robin Scorpio-Drake was HIV-infected and her father Dr. Patrick never contracted the disease.
Michael E. Knight – Martin Grey
Michael E. Knight’s Martin Grey is the second major character expected to return to General Hospital this week. He will appear in the January 29 episode, where he will encounter Jane Elliot’s Tracy Quartermaine. Grey first appeared on the soap opera in 2019 and has had multiple exits and re-entries between 2019 and 2024.
Charles Mesure – Jack Brennan
Charles Mesure’s Jack Brennan also returns to General Hospital on January 30 in a storyline involving his growing close relationship with Laura Wright’s Carly Spencer. Brennan originally debuted on December 1, 2023, and has exited and re-entered the show multiple times since then.
Parry Shen – Brad Cooper
Parry Shen’s Brad Cooper will be seen on General Hospital on January 31. Shen has played the role since May 2013, after taking over for Marcus Toji. The latter played the character in one appearance in February 2013.
Brad Cooper has had multiple exits and re-entries like many cast members during his tenure. He first exited in 2017, but later returned in 2018. Cooper then left again in 2020, after he was arrested, only to come back a few months later. Consequently, Shen then had subsequent exits from the show between 2020 and 2024.
