Ubah Hassan’s comments on Brynn Whitfield in RHONY Season 15 explained

In the explosive Season 15 finale of RHONY, the tension between Ubah Hassan and Brynn Whitfield came to a head, leaving the cast and fans shocked. The drama began when Whitfield accused Hassan of knowingly calling her a “w****” after shed opened up about a painful past experience.

During an intense argument in Puerto Rico, Hassan insinuated that Whitfield may have slept with a Bravo executive to get on the show. This allegation appeared to have deeply offended Whitfield, who is a survivor of sexual assault (via People).

In an emotional outburst, Whitfield explained how Hassan’s accusation triggered her trauma. While fighting back tears, she said, “I’m in support groups trying to deal with s**t that happened to me. You want to go there?” She believed Hassan knew about her past, having confided in her before BravoCon.

Later, Jessel Taank approached Hassan about the allegations, only to find Hassan shocked and blindsided by the revelation. She broke down, insisting she had no memory of the conversation.

Hassan vehemently denied knowing about Whitfield’s assault and defended herself to Jenna Lyons and Racquel Chevremont. However, Whitfield recounted that she’d confided in Hassan before BravoCon about the attempted suicide of a loved one, and that’s when she also spoke about her trauma about the sexual assault.

In the heat of the moment, Hassan confronted Whitfield and the producers had to step in to separate the two. To cool down, Jessel left the villa with Hassan, while the rest of the Housewives gathered in Jenna Lyons’s room to discuss the incident. As Whitfield shared her version of events, some of the Housewives began to question her story.
