It may just seem unusual for Sabrina Carpenter fans to see her wearing something other than her concert-essential sparkly babydolls. However, during her recent stop in Los Angeles for the Short n’ Sweet Tour, she visited Malibu’s famous celebrity hotspot Taverna Tony with friends for dinner. In what many may find surprising, the singer ditched her concert staple to wear a baggy and casual outfit for the outing with friends.
Carpenter recently performed at the first of the three shows in Los Angeles on November 15 and introduced a surprise guest to the audience. Christina Aguilera joined the 25-year-old on stage for the memorable and sparkly night that she later recapped in a series of Instagram photos and videos.
Sabrina Carpenter steps out in oversized clothing for dinner with friends
Backgrid USA‘s photos of Sabrina Carpenter show her in oversized clothes, stepping away from her sparkly babydolls for a change. While in L.A., she had a dinner outing with friends in Taverna Tony, a famous Greek restaurant in Malibu, and sported an oversized tee with baggy jeans and a huge coat for the occasion. Carpenter paired a red t-shirt that reached beyond her thighs with blue jeans that had slits on the knee area. Additionally, she included a pair of white sneakers, a black oversized coat, and a handbag to complete the casual yet stylish night out look.
Before that, the singer delivered another rocking performance during one out of her three shows in Los Angeles. Music icon Christina Aguilera joined her on stage for the act when the two donned almost similar ensembles. Carpenter was wearing a black and sparkly babydoll, one of her usuals, and acted surprised when Aguilera popped up behind her in a pointed corset top and shorts with a pair of glittery thigh-high boots. The duo also had matching hairstyles with their long blonde locks.
In more recent news, Sabrina Carpenter performed her second concert in the city, and this time, “Saturday Night Live” star Marcello Hernandez was the highlight. Hernandez reportedly showed up at the show as his “SNL” character Domingo. Later during the show, Carpenter handcuffed him for being too hot which has been one of the fun and consistent segments of her shows. She arrested the comedian with the iconic pink handcuffs, similar to the one time she handcuffed Millie Bobby Brown.
