Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories on November 18 to share her new Tesla purchase, Optimus the Robot. The star enthusiastically interacted with it in the short clips, using the opportunity to showcase her Tesla Cybertruck as well. The SKKN founder also gave a shoutout to the vehicle’s designer, Franz von Holzhausen, calling him “one of the best car designers ever.”

Kardashian began by greeting the robot and asking if it could do a hand heart. She was pleasantly surprised when it responded by completing her hand heart. The media personality gasped and asked in amazement, “You know how to do that?”

The Tesla robot then mimicked Kim Kardashian’s wave. It also learned how to blow a kiss from her, bringing its hand close to its face and delivering a smooth flying kiss. The duo worked on blowing a kiss till the robot had perfected the move. Kardashian exclaimed that the Tesla product was “cute,” asking Optimus how tall it was. The robot then did a quick “Raise the Roof” dance and gave her a thumbs up.

In the Instagram Stories, she played a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with the Tesla robot. The star won the game as she went with scissors and the robot picked paper. She also showcased a golden color swatch of Optimus.

The production of the Tesla Bot is scheduled to start by 2026. However, the company might start using the robot internally by next year itself.
