North West gifts engraved necklace to mom Kim Kardashian on her birthday
North West had a real surprise planned for her mother Kim Kardashian’s 44th birthday. On Monday, October 21, the SKIMS founder took to her Instagram stories to reveal the sparkly necklace gifted by her daughter. Upon closer look, the necklace featured a strange engraving, which the star revealed read, “Skibidi Toilet.” The word refers to a meme and graphic web novel series created by Alexey Gerasimov on his YouTube channel DaFuq!?Boom!.
Kim Kardashian took a closer look at the necklace when she laughed at the engraving, describing how it was North’s birthday gift. The latter also revealed that she had the back of the necklace engraved as “Love, North.” The Kardashians star flipped the pendant to show the engraving, which also featured her birth date.
The series “Skibidi Toilet,” according to Variety, first began in February 2023 when Gerasimov uploaded an 11-second video of a head singing as it emerges from a toilet. Given its ever-increasing popularity, the creator now has over 70 videos that range anywhere between one to five minutes. They document a fictional war between human toilet heads and cyborgs. Many of his “Skibidi Toilet” videos have received millions of views.
Meanwhile, North West explained the gift to her mother, saying, “Because you love Skibidi Toilet.” The reality mogul responded with confusion as to whether she liked the show. To this, her daughter confirmed that she liked the series. Kim Kardashian also showed how her kids attached balloons around the house with attached messages and photos as a surprise.
The SKKN founder showed sweet messages and family pictures attached to the balloons. She also showed how North prepared balloons that displayed her face on them as part of the surprise. Later, the entrepreneur shared a closer look at her birthday outfit, which was Diesel’s Rooney slip dress.
