Here’s When Limited-Edition Chicken Big Mac Is Coming to US

McDonald’s latest addition to their menus, the Chicken Big Mac, is hitting all U.S. locations on October 10 for a limited period. Before the announcement, this particular high-demand burger was only available in international outlets, including those in the U.K. and for a short time in Miami two years ago.

Chicken Big Mac: What does the burger have?

The Chicken Big Mac from McDonald‘s is the same old Big Mac but with a poultry twist. This new item, which arrives in all locations across the U.S., comes with two tempura battered chicken patties instead of Big Mac’s regular beef patties. In addition to this significant distinction, this McD staple will comprise its signature sauce, cheese, lettuce, and pickles stuffed between the sesame seed bun.

The Chicken Big Mac was previously available in Miami for a limited time in 2022 and is making a much-anticipated comeback next week. However, this isn’t the only change McDonald’s brought to their in-demand Big Mac. Earlier this year, on January 24, the fast-food outlet expanded the size of the cheeseburger by introducing the Double Big Mac with double the amount of ingredients. Each classic burger came with four beef patties, regular sauce, pickles, shredded lettuce, chopped onions, and the sesame bun.

According to USA Today, Tariq Hassan, the chief marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald’s, announced the launch of Chicken Big Mac in a press release. Hassan stated that the fast food chain is “excited to pay homage” to Big Mac, which remains one of their most iconic items and has been around since 1968. However, the release comes in light of their chicken sales, which have been the same as their beef sales. They first announced in September that Chicken Big Mac is coming to all U.S. stores starting October 10 for a limited run until December.
