Lady Gaga has recently opened up about her collaboration with fiancé Michael Polansky for her new studio album ‘Harlequin’, which she released on September 27. The album also acts as an intriguing companion for her latest and highly awaited film, Joker: Folie à Deux.
The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, 38, made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of the film on September 30. During an interview with People Magazine at the event, Lady Gaga revealed that working with her beloved fiancé “felt right” to them.

Lady Gaga has discussed teaming up with her fiancé Michael Polansky on her new studio album, ‘Harlequin’. Polansky has served as a co-executive producer for the album, which has made its debut through Interscope Records. The album includes songs featured on the soundtrack of Joker: Folie à Deux. Showcasing Gaga’s expertise in jazz, the music composition also has elements of soul, rock, doo-wop, and gospel.
While talking to People Magazine, Lady Gaga gushed about how excited she and her fiancé were to collaborate on the ‘Harlequin’ album. She expressed, “It’s just the first time that we decided to fully just go into it and do it.” The singer and actor continued, “We were both so excited”. She further emphasized, “We were all warmed up and ready to go.”
Gaga has also disclosed her immense love for Michael Polansky. She said, “I just love my fiancé so much.” She continued by saying, “He’s my best friend.” She further explained, “He’s my partner, and I just feel like when you are with your best friend, everything changes.”
The album, ‘Harlequin’ includes a total of thirteen tracks. Per People Magazine, most of the songs are covers, while two are original songs. It includes – “Folie à Deux” and “Happy Mistake.”
