Is there anything better than watching a celebrity throw the first pitch at a major league baseball game? We think not, mostly because celebrities are notoriously terrible at something as simple as throwing a ball. But Olympian Suni Lee flipped out when she threw the first pitch at a recent Minnesota Twins’ game – literally.
The 19-year-old gymnast who took home the gold in last year’s Tokyo Olympics put on quite a show for fans at Minneapolis’ Target Field last week. Before the Minnesota Twins took on the Toronto Blue Jays, Lee appeared on the grass in a Twins jersey and cutoff denim shorts with a baseball in hand, then proceeded to do a series of gravity-defying flips. After executing the combo, she threw the pitch.

The crowd understandably went wild. Baseball game brawls aside, this is probably the most exciting this that has happened at an MLB match-up in quite some time. (Because, let’s be honest, baseball is boring.)
Maybe if Suni Lee could teach the pro ballers a few moves, we might consider tuning in for more games.
