We can almost understand the appeal of dating shows. Beautiful people mingle with other beautiful people, throw in some competition and drama, and it all ends in a breathtaking proposal that has us on the edge of our seats. But it’s one thing when the daters in question are young, hot, famous and/or rich. It’s quite another when they’re incarcerated.
But a new show hosted by the terrifying Nancy Grace seems to think viewers want to watch a very particular romantic trainwreck…between inmates and the women who love them. It’s called Marrying a Murderer.
“The series will pull back the curtain on the relationships of several convicted killers serving time for their crimes,” a New York Post article on the Fox Nation series reads. “It will feature interviews with women who’ve married murderers, as well as in-depth discussions with an expert on this strange phenomenon.”
In addition to the love stories, like the one about the woman on her fourth husband (and second convicted killer) who beat one of his newborn twin daughters to death, Grace unpacks the charges and cases of each cold-blooded criminal.
Dark stuff. If you’re into lies, neck tattoos, and dumb prison wives, this is the dating series for you!
