Eric Clapton may have seriously sweetened our first stroll down nose candy lane, but he also believes there are secret communications in the ether convincing citizens to get vaxxed. Found on YouTube, these subliminal messages have allegedly created a hivemind of sheeple who believe a global pandemic is upon us.
Thankfully Clapton, because of his cocaine superpowers, is immune to mind control. He recently took to…ahem, YouTube to espouse his English wisdom:
“‘What’s going on here?’ I didn’t get the memo. Whatever the memo was, it hadn’t reached me,” Clapton explained about society’s general agreement that Covid is bad. The mind control agreement, which Clapton deemed “mass psychosis” is a theory that gained traction in December 2020 after a clinical psychologist named Mattias Desmet appeared on a certain buff comedian’s podcast.
Though the theory was swiftly punctured by logic needles, Clapton will probably write his next album about it. Based on his interview, here’s a taste of lyrics to come:
“Once I kind of started to look for it, I saw it everywhere … Then I remembered seeing little things on YouTube which were like subliminal advertising; it had been going on for a long time – that thing about ‘you will own nothing and you will be happy.’ And I thought, ‘What’s that mean?’”
Not as catchy as ‘Layla’ but close.
Anyway, the interview entitled “Clapton Versus the Hivemind” actually sounds like a rad movie. Too bad this is real life.
