Are we in the midst of a celebrity baby boom? It would sure seem so. The latest to join the procreation club is Cardi B. The rapper – who just announced her second pregnancy in June – apparently gave birth last week, as evidenced by an Instagram pic.
In the shot, Cardi is seen in a hospital bed with baby daddy Offset. She holds an infant wrapped in a blue blanket. The caption simply reads “9/4/21” with three emojis following it: a gray dinosaur, a blue heart, and a golden teddy bear.

Cardi had not previously revealed the sex of the baby, and this caption doesn’t do a ton to clear things up. Are we to assume that the hue of the heart emoji and the blanket in the pic indicates a baby boy?
We don’t know. Mum’s the word, apparently…for now. If Cardi’s firstborn, Kulture, is any indication, however, it won’t be long before the latest addition has their very own Instagram account – and massive social media following.
