Is there anything more American than a burger, fries, and rock ‘n’ roll? We think not. The Hard Rock Cafe has you covered on all those fronts, but with a new, international twist. Now through June 25, the restaurant is dishing up 12 original burgers inspired by countries all over the world. More than 160 destination-specific burgers were considered for the menu of this, the third annual World Burger Tour.
From the Tango Salsa Burger of Buenos Aires, Argentina, to the Riviera Burger of Nice, France, to the (vegetarian) Spinach & Chickpea Burger of New Delhi, India, the Hard Rock got creative and topped their (mostly) certified Angus beef patties with ingredients you’ve never seen on burgers before: plantains, molasses, eggplant salad, and jambalaya rice cakes, just to name a handful. Spicy and sweet flavors intermingle; goat cheese crumbles and ricotta substitute for standard sliced American. Even the sauces got kicked up a notch: Sriracha mayo, haydari yogurt sauce, and bulgogi sauce are among the unusual condiments.

The standout burger of the the lineup has to be the Seminole Cattlemen Burger. The two-fisted concoction pays homage to Hard Rock International’s parent company, The Seminole Tribe of Florida, with traditional Seminole ingredients like Seminole wing sauce, zippy swamp cabbage (also known as hearts of palm), and tupelo-breaded gator tail. Yes, you read that right. Gator. Tail.
The Hard Rock’s fries are getting in on the updated menu action, too. During the World Burger Tour, fries are served with a signature dipping sauce and some Hard Rock locations will also have fresh takes on seasoned fries like garlic fries with garlic aioli and spiced curry fries with tandoori mayonnaise. That’s pretty exotic compared to your standard salt-and-ketchup fries combo.
