Just more proof that we are currently a part of the most messed up society.
There are tons of apps out there, folks. Apps that are pretty useless, and apps that are just downright bizarre. Let’s not forget that there is an app out there that will actually tell you how many people you’ve hooked up with, and also an app that was made for you to get yourself a bro friend. But the app below is probably the most bizarre yet.
A new app called Dunzo (yes, Dunzo), founded by Kabeer Biswas, was made for one reason and one reason only: to break up with your partner for you. Dunzo is an app that will get your to-do list done for you, like food shopping, picking up your stuff at the dry cleaners and now dumping your lover. And guess what? Someone from Dunzo will even show up in person to your partner’s house, dump them, and pick up your stuff from their place. Damn.
Here is what Biswas had to say to BuzzFeed:
“Our runners take a picture as soon as the stuff is handed over from the pick up location.
As as for ex’s giving up their former SO’s stuff willingly, wouldn’t you rather give a stranger the stuff rather than face the person who just dumped you?
Relationships are changing. Our consumers get all their tasks done via Dunzo because they have no time. When life’s that constrained, shouldn’t there be a more efficient way of cutting losses and moving on?
We are not suggesting to be curt. Chat it out, address why its happening & then don’t deal with the further awkwardness of getting your stuff back. Let Dunzo do it for you. That happens already. All we want to do is make the “logistics” of emotions simpler.”

So now you can tell your kids that you used an app to dump their mom, and you got all your Game of Thrones DVDs back from them thanks to a Dunzo employee. Thanks, Dunzo!
