Anonymous are suggesting that their followers hack into Donald Trump’s smartphone, pointing out how the Samsung Galaxy S3 — Trump’s favored cellular device — “does not meet the security requirements of the average teenager, let alone the purported leader of the free world.”
Anonymous has experienced notable struggles with fighting against Trump’s presidency, after previously claiming that they would battle against Trump’s various divisive policies including his recent immigration ban and the building of the wall. With much of Anonymous rooted in online forums that have shown overwhelming support for Trump such as 4chan, the group has struggled to maintain momentum when it comes to their supposed “war” against the president.
However, now the hacktivist group is looking to up the ante, with them tweeting out a “simple” process to encourage would-be hackers to target the president:
Trump refuses to use another smartphone other than the Galaxy S3. How you could hack and get access to his phone: pic.twitter.com/Ino7NGFpsa

The tweet was sent from Anonymous’ main Twitter account, which boasts 1.69 million followers. The tweet was made before the group made a global call to action against Trump, posting a message on Pastebin in which they asked readers to help “make humanity great again.”
The message reads: “The Trump regime will not listen to protests in the streets, but it will crumble under protests in the work force & sanctions, divestment, and boycotts abroad. We call on you, the citizens of the United States, to organize rolling work strikes nation-wide.
“Remove your labour from the pockets of the tyrants, disrupt the markets they are so proud of, and take the reins of your governance back by building society and mass collaboration. Forget making America great again, together we can make humanity great again.”
The group also started a campaign it’s branding #BDStheUS, in which it is encouraging contributors to engage in “boycotts, divestment and sanctions” in the wake of Trump’s election. As part of this campaign, the group posted a series of numbers it claims are direct phone lines to members of the White House staff.
