Alternate jerseys are nothing new in professional sports, especially basketball. Anything The Association can do to make an extra buck they certainly take advantage of. That type of marketing comes with pit-falls. I.e, Adidas’ “Pride” line.
Of course there’s nothing wrong with team pride. Show off ‘dem colors. But when people get lazy and label a Pride product simply based on its color, you get this…

The correction
The website now shows “white gold” jerseys for the listed games.
Reportedly, the Nuggets weren’t responsible for the wording on their website.
What’s terrible is that this isn’t the first time this insensitive mistake has happened with the Nuggets. It happened last season on their website with a “White Pride” hat.
Do better, fellas.
