Night Club make neon-lit electro pop music that sound like songs that got lost from the Drive soundtrack. It’s no coincidence the L.A. synth duo of Mark Brooks and Emily Kavanaugh did the music for Comedy Central’s ‘80s Miami Vice-inspired Moonbeam City.
Crave is exclusively premiering Night Club’s new single “Dear Enemy” off their forthcoming debut full length Requiem for Romance. The guilty pleasure is a siren call for late nights, long drives and bad behavior with a revved up Nine Inch Nails groove underneath singer Kavanaugh’s leather-clad pantings. Sorry, fingerless gloves not included.
Here’s what Kavanaugh had to say about it, “It’s been a pretty rough year for us personally, so making this record was our only form of therapy. It’s the angriest, most introspective music that we’ve ever made, while still being ‘pop’ at the same time.”
