I guess Barney was all out of love for this girl.
Darby Risner was hanging with her friends when she spotted a Barney head. And like any normal person with logic, Darby decided to don the head in order to scare her friends. The only problem was the dinosaur head slipped by her shoulders — trapping her inside a purple nightmare.

“The head was closing in on me,” the 15-year-old told Al.com. “It was like a stuck-in-a-small-place-and-can’t-get-out-panicking.”
Her friends tried everything to release her from the prehistoric situation, including bathing her arms in Vaseline, and trying to force the head off her. Take a look at the evidence below thanks to Logan Risner’s Twitter:

As a last resort, Darby, her friends and family all jammed back into a minivan and headed for their trusty local firemen: “When they walked in, you couldn’t help but start laughing,” Fire Lt. Vince Bruno said. “We tried to be professional, and she was a little distraught, but we had to giggle about it.”
Darby was finally released when firefighters were able to cut Barney’s head open in what I’m sure is an act that would traumatize any child.
Although, Darby should have headed for Times Square and made a few bucks.
