Tennis Player Tells His Opponent To Challenge His Serve Because It Was Actually In

Let’s be honest: If we’re running a story on tennis, then either a half-naked woman ran onto the court or something extraordinary like a ball boy getting drilled in the nuts by a 121-MPH serve went down.

This probably falls into that latter category.

Before this video surfaced, odds are you only recognized American tennis player Jack Sock from the phrase, “Who in the hell is Jack Sock?”

Well, after the sportsmanship stunt he pulled in his Hopman Cup match against Australian tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt yesterday, you’ll probably now know him as the coolest dude in professional tennis.

Down 5-4 in the first set, Hewitt served a heater that flew by Sock but was ruled out by the line judge. That’s when Sock took matters into his own hands:



Thanks to Sock’s generosity, Hewitt would not only win the point but also the first set and…wait for it…the match. And that just goes to show, kids, honesty gets you nowhere.
