Hey, Charlie Sheen would have considered that a gift.
According to BuzzFeed, a Montreal couple (pictured below) who tied the knot on New Year’s Eve forgot to disable the instant booking feature for their apartment listed on Airbnb, and that tiny oversight eventually led to a cocaine-fueled orgy going down on the other side of their bedroom door on their wedding night.
Justine Smith said she and her husband Francisco Peres often rent out two rooms in their apartment on Airbnb, but they hadn’t planned on renting out one of them on their wedding night. When Smith noticed a young couple from Ottawa had booked the room, she called them and explained the situation, but the couple begged her to reconsider and promised they would be “super chill.”
Smith said she allowed them to keep the reservation because she and her husband needed the money, but they soon realized it was a huge mistake, as the couple returned to the apartment in the early morning hours and were anything but super chill.
Smith said that not only did she and her husband hear the couple “cutting cocaine on the glass table in the living room and snorting it,” but they also heard people having sex in the next room. When they “ventured” into the living room later that morning, they found empty cocaine baggies on the table, a “cum-caked carpet that was beyond saving” and two naked strangers on their couch who wished them a happy new year and asked who they were.
Naturally, Smith and Peres were beyond pissed, and that was before they discovered another person in bed with the Ottawa couple. Smith said the renters were “horrified,” and all five orgy participants quickly cleaned up their mess to the best of their ability before leaving.
Smith also said that Airbnb offered to compensate them for that “cum-caked” rug as well as the orgy participants, who they referred to as “extra, uninvited guests.” And really, that’s one hell of a gesture from the folks at Airbnb.
But it’s nothing compared to this beautiful handwritten note that the Ottawa couple left behind for the newlyweds:
