While you may have been out and about on New Year’s Eve with your friends, some people actually were stuck at work; like these Pizza Hut employees who were forced to bring people who were drunk enough to actually order anything from Pizza Hut their food. So, these employees went ahead and had their own NYE celebration by hitting a bong.
It’s tough to find anything edible at Pizza Hut, and it’s probably even tougher to work there, so the employees in the video below thought it would be a good idea to not only smoke while at work, but to post it on the Internet for all to see.
Now while these kids at the Cypress, California Pizza Hut were having their fun, there apparently was no pact made to never show that footage to anyone, especially not to the Internet.
Pizza Hut obviously saw the footage and issued this statement to Eater:
“There is no tolerance for this kind of activity at any of our restaurants. The local franchise owner took swift action and the employees involved will no longer work for Pizza Hut.”
Well, at least now they will have more time for extracurricular activities.
