Florida Man Busted For Drunk Driving Says Dog Was Driving The Car

And that furry little f—er drank my last Natty Light, too.

According to The Smoking Gun, a 26-year-old convicted felon led Palmetto police officers on a high-speed chase Wednesday night that came to an end only after he crashed his ride into an occupied house.

But authorities said Reliford Cooper was pretty adamant that it wasn’t him behind the wheel of the speeding vehicle. Who was? You guessed it: his dog.

“Who was chasing me?” Cooper asked police after they captured him running out of a church bathroom. “You slow as f—! My dog was driving that car; I ran cause I wanted to. You ain’t gonna find no drugs or guns on me.”

They might not have found any drugs on Cooper, but given the fact that he “smelled of booze and marijuana,” odds are there were plenty of them in him. And since there wasn’t a dog found in his car either, we can safely assume that it was some terrific weed.
