That next batch of tomato soup might taste a little funky.
According to Reddit, some dude had a rough start to the new year when an attempt to clean his wife’s sex toys by boiling them in a pot of water went awry when they instead caught fire because he forgot about them while he was on the phone with his parents.
In his post titled, “Dear Reddit, Today I F***ed Up,” the unnamed gentleman said he and his wife had a tiff the night before, so naturally, he decided to boil her silicone dildos in an effort to patch things up. After throwing them in a pot of water and cranking the stove to the “MAX setting,” he jumped on the phone with his dad for what was supposed to be a “quick convo.”
But 15-20 minutes later, he heard the smoke alarm “loudly going off” as well as his wife yelling “WHAT THE F***?” He ran downstairs to the kitchen and saw a “massive pillar of flame exploding upwards out of the tiny pot,” so he grabbed the fire extinguisher from his wife (because she didn’t know how to use it) and eventually put out the embarrassing fire.
He’s probably already looking forward to 2016.
