“The American Nightmare” Cody w/Brandi Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara
Guevara and Cody trade pin attempts. Guevara rolls Cody into the ropes. Cody rolls out of the ring, frustrated. Guevara goes tranquillo in the ring. Guevara lands a dropkick followed by a back roll into a moonsault for a near fall. Guevara slaps Cody in the face. Cody drops down and uppercuts Guevara. Powerslam by Cody. Guevara kicks out. Cody sinks in the figure-four. Cody beats Guevara into the corner. Guevara and Cody trade chops. Delay vertical suplex for a near fall by Cody. Cody misses a right hand. Guevara lands a spin kick. Guevara whips Cody into the ropes. Cody springboard into a cutter. Guevara kicks out again. Guevara surprises Cody with a head kick. Guevara springboards off the top rope and hits a cutter of his own. Cody boots Guevara off the apron. Brandi yells at Guevara on the outside. Cody sets up a dive. As Cody leaps through the ropes, Guevara pulls Brandi in the way. Cody crashes into Brandi.
Guevara pushes Cody into the ring post. Guevara sends Cody into the ring. Guevara tries a top rope moonsault. Cody rolls out of the way. Guevara tries a standing moonsault but Cody rolls out of the way again. Guevara hits a standing shooting star. While the referee is distracted Brandi hits Guevara in the head with her shoe. Cody blasts Guevara with the disaster kick. Guevara kicks out. Cody hits a top rope reverse suplex! Guevara kicks out! Cody goes up top. Guevara pops back to his feet. Guevara jumps up to the top rope and hits a Spanish Fly. Cody kicks out. Guevara attempts a shooting star press off the top but Cody gets his knees up. Cody puts Guevara in a small package for the win!
Winner- Cody
After the match, Guevara shakes Cody’s hand. Chris Jericho attacks Cody from behind. After the break, Jericho hits Cody with a chair. Jericho powerbombs Cody on two chairs. Jericho grabs a mic and introduces himself to the crowd.
