If it’s OK to have German beer and American whiskey on March 17 so long as it’s green, there’s no reason why Mexico can’t send in some Tequila, lay in some verde and call it a new celebratory tradition.
Hornitos stepped up to demonstrate with the “Green River Runs Through It” cocktail. Apparently, the international relations experts at “O’Hornitos” wanted to bring together Guadalajara and Dublin.
The drink sends out a mighty O’Le with double distilled Plata Tequila. Fetch some Green Chartreuse and fresh lime juice and prepare for your fiesta.
Recipe:
- 2 parts HornitosPlata Tequila
- 2/3 parts Green Chartreuse
- 1 part fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Strain over ice.
